Oxton Community Shop

Welcome!

Having suffered the loss the local shop and Post Office in 2018, the community took action and formed a charitable body which has since re-established the Oxton Shop. Run by volunteers and one member of staff it is a vital community resource. From newspapers, magazines, food, dairy goods, baked goods to drinks and more, we aim to provide everything and anything you might need on a whim. Whether you’re doing your weekly shop or need supplies for tonight’s dinner, pop in and find what you’re looking for. We also stock cigarettes, alcohol and a range of medical supplies – if you cant find what you are looking for, let us know and we’ll try to get it for you.

Through our trusty suppliers we are able to offer a wide range of products. Our food section has fresh fruit and vegetables, frozen foods, tinned products, herbs, spices, sweet treats and more, while our household section includes cleaning and sanitary products, and other handy household items. We also stock a range of soft and alcoholic drinks, including wines, beers and spirits.

Monday to Friday          8.00am – 12.00pm and 4.00pm – 6.00pm
Saturday                           8.00am – 12.00pm
Sunday                              9.00am – 12.00pm
