OCDL is a Community Benefit Society formed in 2017 when our local post office and shop were under threat and other important amenities such as the Tower Hotel had closed. With 124 shareholders and an elected committee our aims are to pursue activities for the benefit of the local community.

With the Tower in good hands and our new shop thriving, we are now looking to the future to see how we can continue to support and promote community life in our village and surrounds. Our most recent initiative is Oxstock, a music and arts festival aiming to offer affordable and good quality cultural events on your doorstep.
